Shaiya Rothberg learns in the Kollel, and teaches Jewish Thought, Kabbalah and Bible, at
the Conservative Yeshiva of
Jerusalem. He received his B.A. in Jewish Philosophy and Talmud from Bar-Ilan University, his M.A. in Jewish Thought from Hebrew
University, and is presently a doctoral candidate in the same field at Hebrew
University (abstract of research: The
Democratization of the Jewish Political Tradition - The Thought of R. Chaim Hirschensohn).
Rothberg
lives in Jerusalem with his wife, Gittit, and three
sons, Amos, Binyamin and Yotam.
